What is processed

With your separate consent, Didit processes your government ID, a live selfie, facial data, and extracted date of birth to verify the ID, confirm you are at least 18, perform liveness detection, and match the selfie to the ID portrait.

Why

The checks help confirm age and identity and support anti-catfishing, fraud prevention, and member safety controls. The configured workflow also uses face search to help detect repeated verification and fraud. The provider may compare facial data with other sessions under its configuration; actual image and template retention depends on its controls and lawful obligations.

Choice and account impact

Identity verification is temporarily unavailable in Canada. You can still discover, match, and chat. Premium does not enable identity verification in Canada. The checkbox begins unchecked, and Didit verification will not launch without separate consent. Ordinary eligible Free members may use The Wheel, Like or Pass, form mutual matches, and message matches without identity or face verification.

Active Premium includes access to begin optional verification where available. Payment does not guarantee a successful result. Free members cannot start a new verification session, including through referrals, ads, or previous Premium activation. A legitimate session authorized before Premium expires may still complete. Only a successful Didit result confirmed by Our Next Everything grants Verified status, the accessible Our Next Everything rose badge, and the Verified Member benefits described on the Verification page.

My Style does not require verification. Free members use ordinary My Style through validated 24-hour rewarded access, and active Premium includes ordinary My Style without rewarded ads. Separately, successful verification earns the current Verification Reward pack permanently when available. The pack earned remains theirs if the selected reward changes. Style ownership never changes the official verification badge or result.

Unverified members may publish up to three profile photos, including with Premium. Successfully Verified members may publish up to six. After Premium expires or is canceled, a legitimate verification result, rose badge, and six-photo allowance remain, subject to account-integrity and trust and safety rules concerning fraud, identity compromise, or ownership.

Records and retention

Our Next Everything retains consent evidence, the provider session reference, check outcomes, verified date-of-birth result, and safe audit status. We do not store raw government-ID images or raw selfie/liveness images. Didit processes current provider media under its configured controls, privacy terms, and applicable law. Limited legacy accounts may retain an operational AWS Face Liveness or face-match reference; verified account deletion queues configured provider cleanup and does not complete while a known cleanup remains pending.

Your choices and requests

Contact support@ournexteverything.com to ask about withdrawing consent, access or correction, or review of a result that affects you. Do not email identity documents. Withdrawing consent may prevent further verification and does not erase records that must lawfully be retained. For Canada, supported passport, government identity-card and residence-permit categories are available. Health-insurance cards and driver licences, including combined health cards, are excluded. The same limited selection applies when home country is not yet recorded, without assuming residence. Available documents depend on the issuer and authorized process; approval is not guaranteed.
